Bio

SB (aka SarahBeth) is an experienced events and marketing professional specializing in end-to-end planning and execution of diverse campaigns and immersive experiences. Adept at managing complex, cross-functional programs with high-profile stakeholders, ensuring efficiency within budget constraints, and driving strategic alignment with broader initiatives. She is passionate about prioritizing the attendee experience, emphasizing the individual and fostering collaboration, proactivity, and flexibility to drive action.

I am passionate about the attendee experience and delighting the customers by listening to them and understanding the interests and needs of the stakeholders. I strive to make them feel heard and important, and use these learnings to continue to deliver exceptional experiences.

Vendor Management

I have a proven track record of strategically sourcing, contracting, and managing vendors/service providers for various event needs, including venues, hotels, AV & production, food & beverage, transportation, and guest speakers. Remaining cautious of the goals & objectives being met within reasonable budgets and timelines.

Agility and Resourcefulness

As a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) since 2014 and an active member of MPI and CEMA, I possess a strong network within the industry, which enhances my negotiation skills and ability to ensure successful outcomes for all stakeholders. My personal experience and professional network enable me to be agile and resourceful in navigating challenges and finding innovative solutions.

Brex Summer Soiree

Executed a family-friendly activation at the annual Brex Seattle Summer Party that allowed each attendee to make their own flower crowns and/or friendship bracelet.

Taiwan Pop-Up Shop in Seattle, WA

Executed a retail pop-up shop for Tawain during the APEC Summit - Seattle, WA. Including managing vendors, retail space, retail products, local influencers, and media. Additionally, hosted a VIP welcome reception, live media engagement, pre- and post-event promotion.

2023

APEC Summit Meeting - Microsoft

Managed the C-Level representative speakers for all six ministerial meetings relating to the Microsoft partnerships and impact during the APEC Summit in Seattle, WA, including hosting the Washington State Governor, Jay Inslee, for a pivotal meeting on Microsoft campus.

Highspot Spark ‘22

Lead Event Manager of the first ever, Spark User Conference and global roadshow logistics; encompassing goal setting, stakeholder, vendor, and PO management, speaker selection, agenda design, employee participation, AV and virtual program, meeting space, employee and third-party staff, awards, and other related responsibilities.

As a corporate sponsor of the 6th Annual WIT Regatta, Facebook hosted 6+ sessions, provided 10+ speakers, and promoted this hybrid conference to over 500+ attendees over a 2 week event, hosted in Seattle, WA and online for a global audience,
